Linking Balkan

“Linking Balkan” is a performative lecture questioning the practices of naming, mapping and defining what is real or virtual for a space that is known as Balkans. Balkan is considered to be a space of constant trouble making, as a field of production of historical failures. In this way it is not accepted as a real space but something that is transferred into the virtual. This approach makes it necessary to rethink the definition of Balkan in combination with new media and technology.
